I need to get a document notarized for my new passport application, dual-nationally,
I can't find anywhere that will do it for less £60 but being a student I don't have that kind of money, anyone got any idea

Are you sure you definitely need a notary public? For most things practising solicitors are acceptable.
  • Also as far as I know the post office offer a "check and send" service for passports where they are allowed to sign everything as an original copy seen, this is fine for all other documents btu not sure about your form might be worthwhile you ringing the passport office to clarify...........

If you can use the post office service I think it is £10 :)
  • its for a statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor form

"the declaration must be signed by the applicant in the presence of a notary and the same official must endorse and sign the reverse of one of the photographs."
