Plumbing HELP!

Hi,
I am moving house and need to disconnect the washing machine. I've done this fine, but I don't have an attachment which covers the trap hose nozzle (like this one)

So - water is draining into the cupboard below....

Do you know what I need to buy - what it's called? I have looked on wickes and can't see what I am looking for.

Any help appreciated.

You could buy one of those and then turn it so it faces upwards as the people moving in will probably want to use it?

You want the little blue blank, plumbers merchant might be more use to get one. Unless Wickes have some kicking about.

If you can't buy one you can easily make one out of a bit of plastic. In the meantime block up the hole in the waste pipe with plumbers mate or putty even Blu-Tack for a temporary arrangement.

make a plastic disc to size, and tape it on with lots of brown tape or duct tape.
works a treat.
