Get off Atlantic Gas and Elec

To anyone Atlantic customers - I thoroughly researched the energy market in the past and was happy to become an Atlantic customer.
However since being taken over by Scottish and Southern I found that my Atlantic prices went up and only last week found that Scottish had a tariff that could have saved me at least 20% on my energy bills but has never been offered to me!
When I asked why had I not been offered the better tariff I was told it was on the internet and I could have looked and asked for it. A helpful customer service advicer did a comparison for me and I would have saved over £70 per quarter but he could not rebate or back date the tariff.
If you are on Atlantic - ask for a comparison with SS's other tariffs TODAY!

No utility company will automatically offer you the cheapest tariff. That's the whole point of comp sites.
Don't compare just with S&S, research the whole market.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I have called them , and the tariff i am on is the best apart from saving £25 a year but thats getting locked into this deal till 31st december 2011 , not for me thx !!!
