OH was fine while we were away, had a lovely time, enjoyed himself, was happy ... started getting stressed again about half way homeHe misses his kids so much and is trying to keep everyone happy no matter how much I tell him that its an impossible task.
So far today... lay in bed reading a book... brought in kindling and logs, moved more logs from the outside log store into potato sacks in the shed. Need to chop more kindling (so hoping OH will come and visit sometime soon).
So today... I guess I should go and do some food shopping and take in my dry cleaning, and then do indoor stuff including ironing, writing cards and wrapping presents so I know what I have left to do before Christmas!
Will also be making a GP appointment on Monday as things still aren't good... not sure what's going on, but it isn't right
Hope to catch up with you all properly next week, but I see that Valli, Sockdrawer and lil_me have all shared good news today0 -
Good news, glad you're ok. So you tested and BFN?Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

slight change of plan
making baked stuffed peaches
well I have no peaches so it's nectarines and I'll have to miss the egg yolk out!
and the LSB says I pass the cooking test
well DURRR - wasn't aware I was being tested - it's the not getting on anybody's t1ts test that's the clincher;)
I can cook if I can be bothered! Anybody with a sweet tooth would be mightlily impressed my dessert and cake and biscuit repertoire :rotfl:I mean I can knock up a Tarte Tatin without a recipe! *glow* (mind you I buy puff pastry;) who wouldn't?)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi everyone, not been online much this week. I am actually quite ill at the mo, had to go see the dr wed as what I thought was IBS I dont think is. The pain is like a tight knot just below my bra line and stretches doen past my belly button. Anyway the dr has given me some very strong painkillers and some kind of tummy pill and has taken blood tests. She ran through a lot of things of what it could be and has put me down for a scan.
I think I may have a hernia or ulcer but as they are easily sorted not going to worry about it. On a positive note I am rapidly losing weight as I cant eat that much!
Anyway halfway through cleaning, will update later.............If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!0 -
sorry to hear that 1 step
hope you find out exactly what it is, and get it sorted, soon.
Loving the Pollyanna attitude though:TDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Yep... but was told to test after 2 weeks anyway. So we'll see. Suspect it might be better this way right now as I'm not sure OH could cope - well, either he wouldn't be able to cope or it would give him the kick he needs to get through this bad patch. Don't want to push my luck and find out though...
No, its not how you would imagine the perfect scenario to be.
My MIL has now been given 6 months to live...she has the kind of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Grateful sorry to hear about your MIL - there's lots of information, and a support group on-line about asbestosis and mesothelomia

Thank you. Not much can be done as she is old, even by modern standards, and as you guys know, not the easiest person in the world.
Still, horrible news. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
