Depends what your credit rating looks like. Probably pretty bad. So the chances of a new current account are pretty slim? You say you want to start saving [actually "i wanna start saving", which I take to mean the same thing.]. Well the best place to 'save' is by paying back the loan and exhorbitant charges that must be accruing.
This is a case where the best thing would be to have a discussion with Lloyds TSB and agree at what rate you will pay back the arrears, and what you will keep to live on. When you have paid off your loan, then start thinking about a savings account.
If you spend your life not understanding that 'saving' somewhere else will earn you a maximum of 3%, while not paying off your loan is probably costing you 13% or more, hence you are losing 10% for no reason, then I suspect you will never have any money.0 -
my loan payment is sorted but i want a fresh place where i can give details to my work place so they can pay my wages in NOT have them going into lloyds
loans i have sorted out payments so thats ok
just a new account where i can have wages paid into that has no loan no overdraft just wages going in0
