New Year's Resolution: Post less unnecessary posts. (and that was 2007)
yes, I realise I may appear cold and heartless a lot of the time.0 -

The charity commission do hold occasional enquiries, which can lead to action being taken, and which make fascinating reading.
Do the CC ever enforce anything? You read the reports and you decide! :rotfl:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
If this happened in Wales and I do not think there is to much difference in the regulations.
The housing associations get a large hand out from the Welsh Government and this provides a big lever in disputes.
Go to the English version of the Welsh Office ie. where they get their subsidies from.
If the housing association is seemed to be unfair there can be a threat of withholding the grant therefore matters are usually resolved satisfactory.0 -
I think your best bet is the Housing Corporation.
But there's a fascinating bit in our local paper today about how the Local Government Ombudsman has found our city council guilty of failing to carry out its ASB policies. A householder (don't even think it's a council householder!) living at the entrance to a park complained repeatedly over the course of a year about ASB from local youths, and not a lot happened ...
So, the local government ombudsman might be able to take up a case on your behalf with the council.
But for faster action, try the HC!Signature removed for peace of mind0
