Need to move some Electric Cables
Hi there
Our house (semi) was built in 1920 and when the electric was connected (1940ish) it was cables that daisy chained across the back of the properties.
Now I have come into some money and would like to build an extention, but I would like to have the cables moved.
Who do I contact?
How do I get it dome for nothing?
Help?
Kind Regards Wyldkatt

You contact your local network operator (which is usually who used to be the 'electricity board'
There may be a wayleave granted in the 1940s to the electricity undertaking to allow cables to be run across the back of the properties. You would need to check your deeds.
It is unlikely that the work will be free.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
