  • I was on track for a no spend week, but just bought some Kalms as I'm having real trouble sleeping at the moment. Fancied some crisps too and needed milk so total spends £4.68. Not sure about next weeks budget.

No final total for me again this week but red, very red !!

my first week started well but because I didn't keep daily track, it was hard, come the end of the week to remember how much I had spent.

This week, I mentally kept note and wrote everything down at the end of the day AND I still managed to forget things ! However, I went xmas shopping yesterday with my OH and this blew my budget plus I ordered my xmas groceries yesterday too (to be delivered today) so challenge abandoned for this week / will start afresh and will work out how much I will allow for this week and be back later to post.

I have been working on the basis that everything I spend needs to be counted which is fine but I think I need to categorize everything so that it all comes out of its respective budget.
  • I always forget what I've spent! Ended up spending £3.10 on lunch at work yesterday as we were late but still didn't take me over my budget luckily.
