  • I think I need to put £100 in lots of banks and do lots of things till they break then claim the comp. Better than interest rates anyway.
    Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.

    It's true that the more institutions you deal with the more chance there is of something going wrong. Indeed, over the last 2 years or so it's gone 'wrong' for me to the tune of £1,005 in goodwill/compensation with 17 complaints...

    Just to update.....

    They needed further prompting before the CHAPS fee was finally refunded.

    Even then they missed the new agreed deadline but did do it before I got round to phoning yet again.

    I'm just trying to decide if I have the energy to fire off a detailed and strongly worded email!
