camcorder recommendation

hi guys

What would be a recommended camcorder around the £200 mark. I had an old sony handycam which used tapes and it recently died and so I am looking to replace it with something that doesn't need tapes of discs. I don't mind using flash cards or an internal HD but would like to know what people have experiences of.

many thanks

x

I've got smaller, cheaper hd pocket cams and would recommend. They are no good in low light but they are so convenient that you end up using them much more than a "normal" camcorder. Check out Zi8 - not got one but able to take stills as well -from £75 +sd card.
