Quick question about Monitors with built-in TV.
Can the TV function be used indepedently from the monitor? i.e can I have my computer/PC switched off and use the screen as a standalone TV?
Or does it require my PC to be switched on?
And where does the TV get it's reception from? Will i require an antenna of some form, and will it need to be connected to the PC?
Thanks!

You can use the tv function completely seperatly to a pc so the pc can be off and it does need a aerial plugged into the back of the monitor unless your planning on using sky in which case it would require either a scart or hdmi port.0

The PC input to the TV is just another input 'source' such as scart or hdmi. You would just select PC or DVI as the input on your remote (or tv).
The TV should be able to be used as a standard TV whilst the PC is off/on/removed, but you will need an aerial like any TV - or a satellite/cable box. I assume the TV will have built in freeview, but if it's an older model you would need a separate freeview receiver. You could view internet TV such as iplayer through the PC, but that's the PC providing it.0
