in Credit cards
Hi all, my OH has an Aqua card which I have just discovered he has managed to put 2k on (EEK). I need to get him to pay this off, but my first thought is to get it moved to a lower rate of interest as he's going to find this fairly impossible within a sensible period of time. He currently pays off £100 a month but the interest alone is £55 per month. I think his credit may be good enough now to choose another card and do a transfer balance, but not good enough to hit the best rates. He earns 18.5k per year. What card is his next step to apply for, please?

Try one of the sygma cards. Seems he will stand a good chance of card.0

What's his balance on the aqua card and credit limit?0 -
Thanks Starfire, his current balance is 2086, I do not know what his available balance is but he isn't over it.0

Well being a aqua card can not see his limit being to much more than his current balance,if he is thinking about applying elsewhere I would recommend to try and cut the balance down by 60% TBH around the £800 mark, then his chance's of acceptance on another card would be greater..0
