Belkin connection drops!!!!!

I have a Belkin N Wireless router & it drops many times a day. Is there anyone who can give advise on how to sort this out....

    Is it the router dropping connection or the wireless dropping .

    How do I know which 1 it is? Is there a way to find out?

    If your router is using channel 1, 6, 10 or 11 then change it as they are common defaults for many makes and you most likely have someone nearby using the same channel.

    is it the connection to the router - or the router to the internet?
    You may need to check with your ISP for their mtu settings and then enter this into your router settings - the default is usually 1500 - but some ISP's may be slightly different and this can cause disconnects

    Connect by ethernet instead for a day and see if it still drops-if so it's obviously not your wireless connection.
