All my microbore CH pipes come down from the ceiling. When I installed them I put them into plastic trunking let into the wall so that the lid of the trunking sits just below the skim coat. So, easy to access if required and easy to reinstate afterwards. Of course, the walls had not been rendered when I did this, so there was not much chopping out to do.

I'd avoid microbore at all cost and stick with 10mm pipe as a minimum.

Maybe so, but mine has been in operation for over 30 years without a problem. It is either 8 or 10mm I can't remember which.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I'm with phil - box it in making adjustments to coving and skirting where required so that it blends in.

Why are we discussing whether or not the OP should be changing his pipework to 15mm when its already in 10mm (or 8mm) microbore? No sense in changing it.

    Cheers

The op hasn't mentioned anything about the size of the pipework. Someone got side tracked half way through, so this thread has gone off at a tangeny about the benefits or otherwise of varying pipe sizes. Nothing to do with the question in hand.
