Good evening all,
Thank you all for your patience over this weekend.
Unfortunately, Google Checkout were experiencing an intermittent fault processing payments this weekend. This fault resulted in payments for a number of orders not being accepted.
I have been assured that the fault has now been rectified.
Should you wish you place an order, we are confident it will checkout without any problems.
I have personally tried to contact everyone that had an order delayed by this fault.
If you would like to contact me, please click the blue help icon in the top-right corner and then on the Contact information heading.
Kindest regards,
Jackie0 -
i understand that google charged me for the declined transaction...i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0

I ordered from Jackie a couple of weeks ago, and thought her customer service was excellent. One of the sale ribbons was just a few cms short of the metre I ordered, and I was given a 50% refund on it. Thanks for being so honest.0

No not so, I emailed Jackie's Farbrics earlier this afternoon just before I put another order in. Jackie explained that the fault was with Google Checkout itself and not her website. Google contacted her first thing this morning after she emailed them over the weekend and they apologised profusely, admitting liability and apparently it had effected hundreds of UK websites. Anyway it IS now working fine, I've just ordered few of those 'taggies' for our little baba, they look gorgeous.jazzconfused wrote: »placed an order yesterday but my order has been declined even though ive used firefox... not so pleased.
Keep up the good work Jackie!

I ordered from Jackie's Fabrics a few days ago and my things came in the post today (I use firefox anyway so didn't have any problems ordering). Lovely christmas fabric and ribbons, got some of the 5p and 10p christmas ribbons, very cheap and so lovely for the money. Very well packaged, in lovely christmas paper! :T Will be going back for more bits with my christmas money I think

My taggies arrived this morning. Absolutely fantastic, beautifully detailed. Very pleased.
Thank you Jackie0 -
My ribbons arrived and are lovely. Tried just now to order more and Google checkout is greyed out and does not allow purchases.
Jackie deserves better.0 -

I ordered some lovely fabric at the start of the week and received it yesterday. I am absolutely delighted by it and will keep me very busy over Christmas.
libertysurf, I think you are seeing that message because the items you are trying to buy have been bought by someone else while you are shopping or are not available in the quantity you have specified. I have seen this a couple of times while I was shopping, but it should display which item is no longer in stock or not available in the required quantity.
tinker15, I was wondering this too. The postage is calculated when you go to pay for the items on Google Checkout. It is a shame they are not displayed when you are shopping, but they do seem very reasonable. I was charged the exact amount the postage cost.0 -
Ordered lots of Christmas ribbon last night for making my wrapped-up presents all pretty (think I've been watching too many Kirstie Allsop programmes lol)
Can't wait for it to arrive, such a bargain.
