recommendations for leggings/jeggings
Comments

I'm a size 16 and carry all my weight on hips/bum.
I've found some great leggings in New Look, they have lycra in them so are slightly shiny, but they fit great and wash really well. I don't tumble dry them though.
I've also found that by wearing a pair of 40 denier tights underneath, there is no chance of any skin tone showing and the tights really do seem to improve my shape.
I'm in my early 40's and love my sweater dress/leggings/biker boot look.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
if you are comfortable then its entirely up to you if you wear leggings.
however i woudl stress that they should be worn with a long top- we have a lady in work who is roughly a size 18, pushing 50 and insists on wearing short tops- ie ones that dont cover her bum :-O
it all depends on your individual body shape as well- you could have 2 people who were 5ft 7, both a size 14 and one could be all flabby and the other could be more defined- try some on and see how you feel :-)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
