Lloyds Your Offers ?

My Wife has just logged into her Lloyds Internet banking and inbetween the current account and the credit card there is a 'Your Offers', and in it is a 'Your personalised loan offer' for £13500, and it breaks down the amount payable etc.

Is this real and guaranteed or simply the same as everyone else, not that she is going to apply for it as the repayment is £315 a month !.

It is real and 95% guaranteed.

You can tailor the payments over a longer or shorter time period.

Everyone will have a different rate.

They have used internal information on how you wife manges her account (very well) as well as external info and came up with that.
  • It is real based on account behaviour but you will be credit scored and you will have to show in branch anyway that you can afford the repayments.

Not so in my case. I applied just now for a 10k loan via Lloyds internet and I could have had the money transferred into my account instantly.

I understand if you go into a branch and apply then you may have to show you can afford the repayments.

Hi Thanks for that, not sure about the branch thing as it said the amount would be available instantly in her account when she clicked 'Apply'.
  • I did say that branch applicants have to prove affordability ( so down the line you don't get people on here saying that they gave me a £10k loan with only diddly squat as income).
If you apply online then expect to get treated very differently if you default!
