I'm in need of at least a 3 way Ariel splitter / booster.
Are they all roughly the same? Or is there any particular make anyone would recommend?
Thanks

It depends what you're after. They generally work best if the splitter/booster is close to the aerial, so if you don't have mains power there you'll need one with phantom power, where the power is fed up from one of the outlets in the house. If so, there are a number of makes such as Labgear, which are often used by professional aerial fitters.
If you've got power near to the aerial itself, one of the 4-way jobbies that Maplin sell are Ok, though they tend (in my experience) to be a bit more susceptible to lightning damage than the remotely powered masthead units.0 -
