I've been caught out with a standing order - due to leave my account today (Saturday) and I don't really have the money to fulfil it.

I changed it about 7.30pm tonight when I realised - does anybody know if it will still leave my account?

It's not a problem with the recipient or anything, more I need the money that I could use to cover the SO for other bills.

I did try to ring the bank (Lloyds) to check, then realised they were closed and that's why I was on hold for ages. D'oh.

Edit - Nevermind - found the 24 hr number. As long as it's done before 12.30 on a Sunday it's fine. Phew.
