Hi
Had my lappy solen so have got a new Acer with Win7. I hate Live Mail so I'd like to use Outlook 2007. I just can't get it to link to my Hotmail Account. I've tried auto configure and I've tried to setup manually. I had no problem with my last two laptops running Outllook, then Windows Mail.
I get the same sort of error message you get if your password is incorrect. My password isn't wrong because it's still working with Live mail and direct through the web interface.

Have you followed the walk though <<<Here>>> you need the live connector which is sometimes overlooked.0

Thanks. Yes I had found the connector and tried it but binned it because I got the feeling it was just an extension of Windows Live. Anyway, I've given to another go. It does work but only downloads emails from the last month. I can' find a setting to change that. Any tips?
Edit, ideally I just want to use bog standard pop3. Is that not possible?Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0
