Is cold weather payment added on to pension credit payment

I get a small pension credit payment <£15 per week but my payment for Monday is £10 more than normal.

I am due £10 because of the cold.

Is this the cold weather payment added on or have DWP overpaid my pension credit?

payment just shows as a payment from DWP.

No a CWP is paid seperate it will be paid into your bank account as CWP £25.00
The £10 sounds like the christmas bonus.

    it is the christmas bonus

Is it normally lumped in with the pension credit payment?

There is only one payment, not a separate £10.

I confused the CWP I thought it was £10 not £25 for some reason.

I'm pretty certain it is (my Dad gets Pension Credit) and I remember last year he was all in a tizzy as he thought he had been paid too much.

Cold Weather payments defo come seperate though,

yes, only time it is paid seperate is when you are paid 4 weekly and that is issued a seperate payment

CWP will have the dwp cwp next to it when that has been paid

My OH just checked their bank account and they have a £10 payment from DWP for the Christmas bonus.

Do we get one each then?

I would hate to state the obvious and say well obviously!!

But yes, if you are both claiming the relevant benefits, you will get £10 each
