Hi everyone
I just came across this in the paper and would like to ask if you thought it was any good. I know nothing would probably compare to the ipad but that is not an option at the moment. it would be for my daughter who's 13.
This is the link, i can't seem to find a name for it though

Thanks in advance,
Michelle.

Perhaps a little more explanation might help the OP when looking at other such devices. The main reason not to buy this (and most cheap tablets) is that it has a resistive touch screen which is old technology, unresponsive and better suited to stylus rather than finger use. You really want a capacitive touch-screen. Another reason this is best avoided is that it uses quite an old version of Android (1.72). For reasonable tablet performance, I'd look for Android 2.0 at worst and preferably 2.1 or 2.2. The cheapest half-decent tablets I know of are the Advent (sold out at PC world the day it was launched) or the Archos 70 (7") and 101 (10.1"). These range from around £250 to £300.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
