you won't, but if you'd shopped instore you'd have had a choice as to whether or not to buy iit. So if there's only a day or 2 left on delivered goods, ring CS and say so.

  • I agree. I use Tesco online as it helps me budget better. They only take the money out of your acc the day it is delivered. I have only complained once about some bagels and they refunded me the money and gave me some extra coupons to use!

my hubbys gets paid on 23rd of month and i often put an order in for this date and the money isn't taken until that day. u can place an order and book it for delivery in 3 weeks time if needed. i generally get a delivery for early on a tues or wednesday. as delivery is cheaper on these days'.

  • I shop online with Tesco all the time. The money won't come out of your acct until the day of delivery, but when you place the order online, it will refuse payment if there are insufficient funds in your bank acct at the time of placing the order. This has happened to me when I've tried to place an order in advance have nearly nothing in the bank. HTH

I often order delivery from Sainsburys or Tesco when I have no money in the account (few days before I get paid) and my order has always gone through.

    Hi pollyanna,

The best place to get help with home deliveries is the Shop but Don't Drop board, so I've moved your post over there.
