Thomson usb modem

i myself is using modem/router so im asking this question for my friend who had just got bb and thomson usb modem. is there anyway to forward/open port in the above mentioned for p2p.? i tried googling it but couldnt find anything.

    the thomson modem wouldnt prevent p2p , it may be at the software end on the persons pc or the isp has those ports throttled ie prevented.

    Suggest you look at configuring the firewall for alt ports rather than the usual ones for p2p , and if possible make sure rights have been set for the p2p program they want to use.

    Webhamster thanks for the reply first. so its clear that we cant open ports from usb modem. he is using outpost firewall and on it i have allowed the program to be used ie rights. but still its saying to open port. any ideas on the particular firewall
