Abbey National wont give me an address!

Options
Hi, I'm contesting unfair bank charges with Abbey National (who isn't!) I havent posted this in the discussion bit as its a fairly straight forward question.
I've given up spending hours on the phone with their customer services team, every time I ring I get them to refund the charges they've already made (£70 so far) and then after trying to make me say thank you for gracing me with a refund, they point out that I still have to pay the outstanding £20 on the debit charge they just made - its like a comedy sketch!
This is bearing in mind that the original debit into my overdraft was 0.45p on a total debit of £2, yes thats less than half of a shiny pound folks, into my overdraft and having realised my mistake I corrected it within 12 hours.
I've asked them to give me an address to write too, as I have no intention of paying the charges and I'm no longer using the account. However, the operator insisted that she couldnt give me an address over the phone, she would have to send me a letter with an address I can write to - when I went into the bank they told me I had to call them on the telephone, I couldnt have an address! How ridiculous is this! and I'm supposed to be giving these people my hard earned dosh! They're supposed to be working for me, not the other way around!
I really am not one to sit around waiting for a letter to arrive, so I'm hoping someone might have the address somewhere and I can write the letter now. Apologies if this is already on the site somewhere but I havent come across it yet.
Thanks

May-B
(May-B thinking keeping the cash under the floor boards like my grandad would be easier - and cheaper!)

And what about the internet? You have it, don't you? Customer Satisfaction

They are supposed to be working for their company and for the company shareholders. :D

If you have a look on http://consumeractiongroup.co.uk you will find all the addresses, and appropriate letters you need to send. Just look under the Abbey National thread.

Thank you! I do have the internet but I think this calls for a proper letter. Your right on the share-holder front as well, silly me, I'm always duped by their advertising!
