I accept i made mistakes but this was through not knowing the ins and outs of the system. and so is this.

You need to get your figures straight, gain an understanding of your legal obligations and the thresholds for claims etc and then work within the system.

Much of the blame lies at your door and the 'woe is me' approach to HMRC etc is not really going to help things move any faster is it?
