    Well, they can go for bankrupcy but it will be harder for them to prove to the judge that the debt is yours. Even if you've made a payment this is not necessarily an admission, it is a response to blackmail.

    In sent the letter asking for a copy of the credit agreement last thur - no reply from the DCA Recover yet ! :D

    Fingers crossed ! Lol :p
  • Isn't the problem that by saying "our credit agreement" in the letter, and not saying "I do not acknowledge any debt to your company", the debt has been acknowledged and the clock restarts?
  • I did change the letter slightly - I changed it to "the credit agreement of the alledged debt".

    Maybe that will work better ?!

    Hope is a wonderfull thing...................:rolleyes:
