ID Parades - Earn Money

There are several police stations throughout the country that have ID suites (although most don't). You first need to go to the police station fill in a form with contact details and personal description like height and build. The ID suite will contact you when they have a suitable parade coming up and you confirm if you can make the time and date. You then get paid for turning up and more if you are used in the parade.
I used Southsea police station and got paid £10 for turning up, this rises to £15 if I was used in the parade. You also get paid if the suspect does not turn up or you have to wait a long time. Most of the parades are during the day so you will need to be available then.
If anyone knows of other ID suites then please post them here?

I believe if you are picked out there is nothing the police can do as you did not have any legal representation or informed of your rights. I am not 100% sure of this but the women at the ID suite told me not to worry about it!0 -

Many years ago (when police standards were even lower than they are today!) a few of my friends and I decided ot go on an ID parade to earn a tenner!
The accussed suddenly identified himself to us all when he started screaming out "none of these guys look anything like me- Im bound to get picked out!!"
He had a point as he was 10 years older than everyone else and a lot of the people in the line up weren't even the same colour as him!
Needlesss to say, we didnt get paid as the police cancelled the session!Bismillah0 -

I did one of these ID parades about 10 years ago, the Polcie use to come into work and ask us regularly. It took about 30 minutes or so and I think I got a tenner which wasnt bad then. They asked us all if I wanted to do it again sometime and I said yes. I never heard a dicky bird since.
I mustn't look a criminal

thanks for making me laugh! :T I wonder if you get picked out, if they don't tell you what you are supposed to have done or you start confessing about your bad deeds in case one of them matches...?
