you can get dog booties which would stop the ice balls between the pads
google them, or snowpawstore
never used them myself but have seen them used, my guys are huskies so dont have this problem!I'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:0 -
The snow seems to have affected both my dogs. One (the disabled parson russell) has had an upset stomach - £75 in vets bills already but thankfully he is getting better. The border terrier seems to be weeing a lot more. Vet says its the cold0

Aww that's fab. There's a group who go down to the South Coast some crisp winter days and have up to 200 GSD's running on the beach together. I'd love to take my monster to have a go, hoping that they will do it in the New Year!0 -
Caroline - would love that too...LOL
Above in the red jacket is my dog walker (which now I had to cancel), my daughter and me (sideays - hate photos), the other dog walker was taking the photos, they often walk dogs together/combine walks as they work together doing dog walking and home boarding....
You can see more photos of Zara 9who we already established is twins separated at birth with your boy LOL) at:

Even though I had to cancel the dogwalker now, I still meet them for walks and just walk Zara myself with them ....0 -
I think I need to ask Santa for a camera phone. Mutt who is generally a heat seeking missile adores the snow - she hurls herself into it and rolls all over the place. However with the everpresent buster collar, she's been more of a snowplough than anything else and has been up to her eyeballs - torn between laughing at and feeling sorry for her.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Nash who spent most of the walk with his head in the snow then rolling
Blackie, who is 11 and kept asking to go out to eat the snow0
