just received first bill from eon and noticed the charges for electricity are higher (not by much) than on the switching paperwork i received in september (about 0.5p/kwh) - have eon put their prices up in last couple of months as i dont recall receiving anything to that effect? - thanks

No price hikes by eon, call them to clarify0

Just a thought highet, but are you looking at prices including VAT and comparing with prices without VAT.
Saveonline 2 is based on our standard prices less discounts for online management/payment by Monthly Direct Debit.
As Airmike says, our standard prices haven't changed recently.
Hope this helps highet. Give me a shout if I can help further as will be happy to do so.

definately not vat - gas prices right but electricity prices on welcome letter for saveonline2 dated 7 august -
first 900 kwh/year - 22.84p(exc vat) 23.98p(incl vat)
next kwh - 8.71p(exc vat) 9.15p(incl vat)
but bill on 1st dec charges are
first 900 kwh/year 23.03p(exc vat)
next kwh - 9.21p(exc vat)
then 5% vat added at end of bill so
24.1815 inc vat and 9.6705 inc vat
not even a consistent increase between higher and lower rate differences
not a big difference but baffling none the less0 -
This is an interesting one highet.
I've just gone through all our prices for saveonline 2 and the figures you've quoted from the welcome letter are for one region (area 19); whilst those taken from your bill are for another (area 18).
Something is clearly not right here and needs sorting.
Either give us a call or drop an email to the address in my Profile if you prefer. I'll be happy to take a look.
