Premier Inn

Just don't stay with Premier Inn, especially the Ballater Street, Glasgow hotel. All my husband and I wanted was a bed that wasn't broken to sleep in and a shower that worked. Staff wanted to move us to a third room  Customer services do not acknowledge my complaint.

So, if the 3rd room actually had "bed that wasn't broken to sleep in and a shower that worked" then why not move to it?0

The Glasgow one may have had a problem but personally I have found them fairly reliable for what they are whenever I have stayed there and had no broken beds!0

I stay in Premiers regularly.
I have had one problem in probably 100 bookings, and Premier refunded me straight away even though it wasn't what I was looking for.
You had a little problem and apparently you weren't happy with the solution offered by Premier.
Do you work for Travelodge by any chance?...:p0 -
we had a problem and they refunded us no questions asked'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

Didn't the reception staff member tell about their 'Good Night Guarantee'?
I've stayed in many Premier Inn hotels and I've only had a couple of problems. Each time I've had a problem, I got a full refund.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. I too have stayed in premier travel inn's probably 30 times a year and have never had a complaint ignored, have received refunds when there has been an issue.
I have always found the staff to be fantastic.
Did you actually stay ?
Did you pay ?
How did you try to contact them about it ?"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
I personally couldnt recommend a better place. Cheap, clean, modern, v.nice shower room. Clean hallways, good staff. You can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!0

I have stayed in a few Premier Inns. I have always found the staff to be very professional and the hotel to be very nice. I once had a disrupted night listening to a couple humping in the room next door. I was not annoyed, more slightly envious !!!!
Premier Inn is a decent chain and is staffed by decent, hard working people. I am sorry you had a bad experience but that certainly contradicts my numerous experiences at their hotels."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -
I love Premier Inn and wouldn't stay anywhere else when going somewhere new. Went for a break to Edinburgh in November and we did have a problem with the room but was sorted out no problems with the Good Night Guarantee and would not deter me from staying there again. Good value for money - much better than the cheap and nasty TravelDodge! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I too have used Premier Inns (for work) and each time there has been a problem the cost has been refunded without question.
Centre of Manchester - very noisy and no double-glazing meant disturbed sleep.
Coventry (M6) - noisy air con (whining) and with the windows open the noise of the M6 was just as bad. Oh, and the eating place was next door and was awful!
Staff are very helpful and professional and will try hard to sort out problems. Recently at a Birmingham one I asked for, and got given, a doggy bag of breakfast muffins for a colleague who had to leave too early for breakfast.
I'm not a fan of the chain but the rooms are predictable, comfortable and up to a good standard.0
