Sony VAIO keyboard not 100% in webmode

Hello all hoping you can help
My Vaio is fine in normal mode, but when I use web mode, the typing is all over the place. If I type a word, it randomises it, or even deletes characters! Nothing to do with the insert key either.
I tried to work out if it was using the letter 'next to' the letter I want instead, but no chance, it uses a random letter every 10th word or so, fro the other end of the keyboard that I didn't even type!
I have tried looking at the webmode settings but nont of that is for keyboard sensitivity for example, which is all I could think of.
I have tried to Google this but no joy, anyone here have any thoughts?
Many thanks (or man trqks!)
EL

Have you checked on the Sony website for software updates for your model? It sounds like a problem with their bundled software/firmware.0

Thanks fwor, I did look on their site but as I am not sure what is causing the error, not sure what to look for to download - will check out 'latest software' downloads etc. Thank you.MFW #185
