had a power cut last night for a few hours, temp was -16c, by 8.30pm power restored. left heating on all night, this morning woke up have a twin tap in kitchen cold water side working, hot water not. do you think it could be frozen if so what the heck do I do? I have opened the tap up fully and checked other hot water in house and its all working.

mine used to do the same , the pipe for the hot routed next to an air brick under the sink , a gentle heat with a hairdryer in that area used to sort itEx forum ambassador

What do you expect water to do at minus 16C?! No UK house is really designed to function at those temps.
Aren't the fascias therefore covered under your NHBC warranty? No free lunch, and no free laptop0
