barclays reserve fees

Last month I went over my barclays overdraft by £3 and didn't realise until a month later as this is my second account and I don't check it as often. I know this was my own stupid fault but any way... I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am now going to be charged £66 in fees because of this. I rang barclays as soon as I realised and asked whether they could help me with a goodwill gesture with it only being £3 into the reserve, and he said no because of the way my account is being run and that it's always at the bottom of the overdraft.
Is there anything else I can do? Other than not make the same mistake again.

You can remove the reserve and pay the alternative fees for going over your agreed overdraft.

Increase the overdraft(if they will let you)

Put more money in the account so it is not at the overdraft limit all the time.

Why are you using this account and not looking at it?
