Hi
You could try legal and general for landlords buildings insurance0 -
Are you a tenant or a landlord? If you are a tenant, you don't need house insurance, just contents insurance."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

There aren't many companies that cover contents in rented property, Endsleigh are probably the biggest. My premium last year for a 2 bed flat in London, covering (I think) £20k's contents was about £130. They can be quite flexible on price, though, so it's worth haggling. When I went to renew, they were quoting a much higher price than the previous year, even though their website was quoting a lower price, so just hang in there and haggle!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
as a tenant, you have access to virtually all contents insurance providers and their standard offerings. You dont need a special policy.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I had a mare with Endsleigh, the policy was next to useless when I came to claim. Their customer service is also appaling, I was told several differnt things.
Got so angry I wrote to the MD!
I'm looking elsewhere.0 -
Hi - a bit of a warning rather than a recommendation here!! When we were renting we had to use a company called Homelet through the letting agents. I think they're underwritten by Groupama but were very expensive (£28 per month on £15k of contents) and the claim procedure wasn't fabulous either.....
