I'm hoping to go on the way to work so will let you know how I get on.
I am also bring my husband so he can get some for my parents who can't get out because of the snow.0 -
OH is nipping to local builders merchants for a bag of rock salt/grit (£4 for 25kg pretty good) for mil/fil my mum/dad and one for us. We have had less snow that other areas (no school closures as yet) but it has been very cold and we keep getting freezing fog which is making like an ice rink on the drive. So told him to do a detour to local Morrisons which is on the same road.
To qualify for the offer from the website like last year rather than having to buy all the "parts" to get the offer, each individual bit is reduced.
So soups down to 50p (last year we bought quite a few of the soups- the pork seemed to go and the starters got left lol, and they froze perfectly), pork joint for £4, veg pack (potatos, carrots and brussels-again prefectly freezable once blanched/cooked) down to 50p and the trifles also on 50p. This means for those who don't like pork, or veggies, or those who might like extra soups/veggies to store can buy them without the meat, or conversly if you just want the meat you can.
Great offer Morrisons, lets just hope they have got it on the tills and in store-after problems with the turkey offer/b1 get 2free offers you can't guarantee it lol.

Had a look at it and doesn't look worth £7, if you like the items in isolation, better buy separately0
