I remember when shops used to red dot things that were in the sale. I'm sure this practice was probably stopped so that if you returned items without a red dot they only had to give you sale price back. So they can't really complain if someone wants to return a sale item with a full price receipt. (Not that they would even know).0

Just stating fact.
Sorry, must start using quotes properly! I wasn't directing that bit at you, I know you're not arguing with anyone

without reciept they would give you the last selling price confirmed on the computer systems..ie argos especially good for doing this for people returning gifts after xmas without receipt...why do you think it all gets reduced after xmas lol
.. they overprice goods onto the market to see how docile or desperate the public is willing to spend on the overpriced item...when no one wants to buy it..they reduce it to a more realistic and fair price...and we all think..wow what a bargain (not)!
thing is they have their legal tricks so why not the consumer.......
some companies promise refund if items are sold cheaper within a window of time ie. 4weeks....i think all shops should have this inplace along with realistic pricing to encourage consumers to spend now rather then..i ll wait until the price drops..as your confident if the price does lower you would be refunded the difference0 -
I got 2 pairs instore, hopefully they'll fit. I've never found sale shoes instore for my kids before, but they had loads

I hope you got served by ever such a nice sales person....

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
I think one member in particular was totally out of line and resorted to name calling which was uncalled for. Yes we all love a bargain but the majority of us have morals and this indeed would be classed as "fraud" like it or not. Yes Clarks are a major retailer it doesnt mean you think oh well they make millions it doesnt affect them sorry wrong attitude.0

you dont need to stoop...you need to stand up straight to be level to our kind....instead of putting down other 'kinds' to make yourself feel superior which your so obviously not by the manner you relate things over!!
there you go again...having an opinion/assumption on how sad i must be because i have too much time on my hands....im not even gonna entertain you with a comment on that exccept that i left the school playground many years ago!! lol
bring it on and argue with yourself!!0 -
Opinion the irony and cheek of it! How about you stop posting such drivel you ought to just listen to what you have been told and preach your own teachings "my mother always said if you got nothing helpful or nice to say then best to say nought at all!".0
