CTC/WTC and new baby

Hello, searched around alot but probly overlooked the answer as it seems simple enough question. Anywho, already claiming WTC and CTC for our son, we've just had another baby boy. We registered his birth the other day and sent off his birth cert with the CB forms, do I need to wait til the new CB is confirmed to update TC or can I phone now and they will update our claim? Common sense tells me they'll need the CB updated first as proof of birth but I've read alot of weird and wonderful rules in my time

You can just phone then and tell them , no need to wait.

You don't have to send proof off to them if it's a ongoing claim.
