urgent help! what does Atrixblue feed his fish?

ive posted on his thread too - but desperately need help!
what does atrix feed his fish on? he is in hospital (emergency appendectomy) and he is now ok but his fish have not been fed since last night.
atrix is my son but I am not that interested in fish so have no idea HOW to feed them - just know that my freezer is full of strange stuff and prawns and mussels i am not allowed to cook!
are the fish ok for a day or two or do the little darlings need to be fed now! will stay online for hour or two in hopes of answer!:)

What fish has he got? and yes they'll be fine for a good few days without food, in fact if there not going to get a good cleaning for a while its best to reduce feeding levels anyway.

I believe they are puffer fish! and i seem to remember him telling me they need feeding every day or they get aggressive.

i feed my puffers musssle meet and blood worms.
half a peice of mussle meat defrosted fed one puffer. and i gave a cube of frozen blood worms.
thing with them is not to over feed or you can kill them. very delicate things them.
oh and mine are dwarf puffer, hope thats some help.

just put a coule of muscles and other frozen bits in a glass of warm water let it dissolve a bit and then drop it in the tank (without the glass of course)

i presume he has frozen food in cubes like bloodworm, brine shrimp, krill and such like beasties

thanks for the replies - apparently the defrosted prawns I gave them this morning were the right thing and the day without food did no harm! so alls well that ends well! Atrix home now so I dont need to be foster mum to his fish!
