Pressed some buttons, now content on webpages looks smaller

I've been doing some repetitive cutting and pasting using keyboard shortcuts and must have accidently pressed a shortcut for something else as now everything on webpages seems smaller. It's only a very slight change, but I'd like to put it back to normal.

It's not just the text size, as I've tried changing this under the page menu and that didn't solve it.

I'm presuming it must be something to do with the ctrl key and some other key that I must have pressed in conjunction with it by accident.

Can anyone help me put it back to normal?

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate edition.

Ctrl and the + (plus) key makes the page bigger.
Ctrl and the - (minus) key makes the page smaller.
Ctrl and the 0 (zero) key resets the page size to normal.

p.s. that's for firefox, at least.
