just booked two nights in romford via travel lodge does anyone know what the public transport is like would like to go into london if possible and also the dog racing track. thanks for any advice can;t seem to find anything on the net about romford

Full of Burberry-clad chavs. A truly vile place. Spend as little time there as possible. Trains into Central London are very fast though. The dog track is rubbish. They have meetings on Wednesdays and Fridays. Go to Walthamstow instead (Thursdays and Saturdays).

totally agree lived there all my life finally moved out of the area earlier this year, would not reccomend the place to anyone

oh no i dreading it now just wanted somewhere nr london to do a bit of shopping and never been to dog racing thought might try it
