I'm not a naturally morning person which is why I jump for joy at lighter evenings....

Had to get up super early today to be in London to teach at a school. I will love it when I get there but right now, there isn't enough makeup and caffeine to make the world right :)

:) Enjoy your day. Lucky kids getting to be inspired!

I dislike being awake at stupid o'clock. :(

Does that mean you were having a second attempt at getting olympic tickets? I think the second round opened at 6am.

I'm supposed to be getting a plane in a bit. I'm not ready and I feel a bit dizzy. I need a sleep. If I put my toothbrush in my handbag, can I buy clean knickers at the airport?

Depends on the airport. Toothbrush isn't necessary for knicker purchases though. :)

Get some airwaves chewing gum and boiled sweets (and keep taking the decongestant) as if your head tubes are still blocked the pressure changes will be very painful from experience.
    I think....

If there were just 7, I could take them to the tip.

I'd take 7 to the tip at weekly intervals. Sooner or later, they will disappear.

Tyres we can use. I'm trying to work out if I can use them tomake banks for the soft fruit garden, but think it might be too much digging. whatever the soloution is it needs to be cheap and would be best if it were quick!

Our big problem here is the amount of hardcore, and not just the amount but the distribution of it....everyewhere, pieces too big to lift. :( All through everything...in cluding the banks I want to become the soft fruit garden!

Did anyone else get up at 6am to try and get Olympic tix after failing the first time? I'm normally up at 6.15am anyways so it wasn't too much earlier than usual for me., getting up at 5.55am. I got two thirds of the way through my application before the site threw a wobbly - but managed to get there in the end by 6.35am.

Now just to wait and see if I've actually got anything this time round...

I like stupid oclock, especially at this time a year and presuming its after five. I get most of my day done before some people are out of bed. Its beautiful here this morning, I bet is was nice at 6:12 over in the SE too. :)

You could demolish a German pill box if you hit it enough times with a Sledgehammer - but I would advise a visor or at least a good pair of safety specs if concrete (rather than bricks) is involved.

You can drop it off round here if you want, my access has suffered due to last winter's early frost followed by this Spring's drought:

Did not Womble last week, as this week I put out the wheelly bins (we have a garbage and a recycle and an unused compost) for their monthly empty - I have to drag them down to "civilisation" to get them emptied; so this is an opportunity to avoid storing the slobs left overs:

3 Ali coke cans (one sugar two chemical).
    1 plastic Lucozade
1 "Mangers" (Let's get sozzled on expensive branded cider - the Irish deficit needs the money).
1 "Bud" - a branded barley drink that links to a Pils heritage by name only?
3 bottles of mineral water including the star exhibit with funny writing:

I wonder how many pointless airborne carbon food miles this half a kilo has clocked up.

1 small (empty) packet of Viagra (so that is what it looks like)

1 "We will be issuing court proceedings" letter dated 03June11 (but received 21June11) - Good luck mate, you might need it when the summons arrives. - To this person living at in Benfleet, with the dodgy car loan, don't worry it has gone in the recycling wheely.

If you have a trailer come and get it! we have literally 1000s of tonnes of hardcore. :( At some point in the future we'll probably have to pay some one to remove it (we've moved a fair bit, but atm we just feel unable to do more. Place looks a mess, piles roped of with electric fencing. :(

on the plus side, I was just out doing something else and stopped to smell the camomile in the poached gateways. The smell is outrageously wonderful. :)
