    I've been Money Tipped!
This morning has been a catalogue of errors.

Our back door has a dodgy handle and I picked a new, rather unsightly but servicable and cheap handle in focus yesterday (btw its like a plague of diy enthusiast locusts have been through there).

Today, after some chores I came back, eaving the dogs out, and went in to et the new handle, took the old one off, stepped inside and ...silly big -dog pushed the door closed. After a couple of minutes wondering how to get back in I found a pair of secateurs and spent half an hour trying to make one of the blades go through the door opening bit and turn it and let my self in. success......but then I remembered I'd already unlocked the other back door and could have walked in anytime I liked!!

Anyway, then put the bar thing through the door and a handle, which is a bit stiff but ok, screwed on the handle, and now it won't turn the bar thing. So in all I've wasted a good deal of tie making a bad situation worse with that door.

It was a prada scent. The still do Infusion d'iris and a rose one, mine was orange blossom. (hideous packaging though, IMO). Thing is, even findin a bottle or two on the internet ony puts off the inevitable and I'd rather find something new.
    Is it this one? http://www.perfumeshopping.com/pra04281-10441.html

Four retailers do it, this one has real shops.

If it's that one, London Perfume Shop also do it

I've only had "posh perfume" as a birthday present, about 4 times.

For my 18th, I knew a rich girl and she and one other clubbed together to buy me my first ever posh perfume - when I didn't even know posh perfume existed. Estee Lauder, Azuree it was.

Since then I've also had about 2-3 bottles of Poison and one of Paul Smith's Extreme. I use posh perfumes frugally, with one bottle lasting over a year. I've not had one for about 8 years now.

I think my favourite of all time smell is an aftershave called Fahrenheit by Dior. I'd snog a tramp if he had that on.

PN, you are amazing. Shall I buy some more now? Delay the inevitable?

Its funny, I never felt like a ''Prada person'' so I woud never have found this, but I smelled it on a card then found out what it was. I guess all the ''Prada people'' felt it wasn't them, hence discontinuing.

Likewise, DH wears an aftershave that I wouldn't have chosen for him, but it makes my knees go weak when its on him. Personal odour changes a scent a lot.

btw, do you like the smell of that aftershave on your skin? If so wear it, feel delighted by it everyday.:D

Great. Got back from school and the big switch has tripped. Won't go back on again, so I worked out it's the sockets. Turned off every plug that is visible. It still trips immediately. The only suspects left are the fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The washing machine wasn't on, I suspect the dishwasher being another crap Hotpoint object guarantees to fail just out of warranty. The tumble drier has sat redundant fir 6 months because it does the same. I'm taking the charge out of the laptop and using my phone right now. H isn't answering his phone.

Have I done the right things so far? This has never happened to me before!

    No broadband, no tv! Aarrgh!

I went out with a guy that wore that. If I ever smell it now, it makes me cringe and want to hide myself. :o

I'm assuming it is more to do with DH than anything else?

I very rarely wear aftershave or similar. I have a fair bit, CK1, diesel, hugo boss, pi. I have some others never opened & I can't remember what they are.:o Some of the stuff is years old.:o I suppose I'm in the habit of not wearing it, hence I keep forgetting. I suppose I really should start, but keep forgetting, or never feel I'm going anywhere that merits wearing it.

Had a busy evening last night. Planted some more carrots in tubs, as the ones in the ground appear to not be bothered about growing at all. Planted another batch of lettuce. Did a third & final coat on a door. Put up some new numbers on said door. Did lots of pottering types stuff. Ran out of time to do any reading though, as was bushwacked by 10.

Still trying to think of stuff to do/places to go over summer. What do folks think about bournemouth?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Did you identify sockets by putting all the switches to off and putting them all on again, one by one? i.e. If you leave the sockets switch off does everything else work?

Yes Lir. I have lights etc, it's the socket switch on the consumer units that trips the whole thing. :( H just tokd ne to call the sparky but everything is breaking atm and I've had to text his wife for his number because H killed my phone with all my contacts. In it. Luckily we got a brand new one without quibble but i have no friends now!

H fell yesterday and totally snapped a worktop. The boiler's on the blink, the tumble drier is already broken. The xbox has been sent off for repair, phone charger is broken, the laptop charger was broken but they have replaced, can't remember what else. This is a nightmare

Is it just one of the circuits that is tripping it?

You know that you have to turn them off then on to reset?

dunno, don't think I've smelt anyone else wearing it. He has a few others, and I like them all, but that one is wonderful. smells like him but better IYSWIM rather than something he's wearing.

Personally, I do not much like Bournemouth (or many of the bigger places along that stretch of coast). :o There are lots of lovely things in the area and I know I'm in the minority so don't listen to me!:D
