well it is very close to the arsenal training ground - they hit us moderately hard so it would have been hard not to realise but they didn't even sort of slow as if thinking about stopping - presumably it was someone who didn't want the publicity. The MID database says they are insured. I hope they get charged with failing to stop.I think....0

I thought we were both in Hertfordshire, but maybe not given our different weather.
Never been to Scotland in my life, I'm ashamed to say!
Why can't I post pictures? Saved it to flickr but the picture doesn't show.
I use photoboucket. Save it to that and then copy the image code.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

OK - the ground was vaguely damp this morning and the gutter was dripping so I guess it did rain overnight but it remains humid, overcast and very warm each time the sun glimpses through.
My day was a bit ruined by a Bentley Silver spur changing lane in to me coming out of the big Sains and driving off - I have reported it to the police but am now debating the insurance co as although the damage is probably about 400 for an insurance co fix it probably only knocks a couple of hundred of the value of the car, the excess is probably not much less than the £400 and I would sooner not report an accident as I am sure it impacts your premium even if it is non fault and no claim is made.
Does anyone know who drives a black or midnight blue Bentley reg 811 bef?
Someone hit me earlier in the year and I took it to the dealer to see how much and they took the whole thing out of my hands. If they think it's easy to contest that it wasn't your fault, they take it on. They went directly to the other party's insurer, I didn't have to pay anything and I got a lovely hire car as well. It hasn't affected my insurance at all - I found a cheaper quote this year despite that and two windscreen claims.
I think they are what people refer to as an Accident Management Company. I think the people Sytner used were called Swift. You should give the driver of that car what they deserve as it doesn't cost you.
Is there a nice person that hasn't had an accident this year yet? I'd be careful if you haven't!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I thought that. Fabregas and Fiabianski begin with F, though neither of them start with B.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Drive over there and speak to the bouncers at the ground. Show them the dent in your car and tell them you want to keep it out of the press and just get your car fixed privately.
a) they will know who owns the Bentley
b) they will sort out enough cash for you to disappear.
If that fails stand on the grass verge with a placard saying "811 BER - I'm after you"I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Well, we had rain last night and this morning. It is now grey, damp and windy, but there isn't any water falling out of the sky at this precise minute.
So, Doozer, where do you think I am????Doozergirl wrote: »Are you in my back garden?!
Not that I'm aware of. But then I don't know where you are, either. Within a bus ride of Worcester, eh? My side of the country then, unless it's a very very long bus ride.
I've had a good day today. Leisurely morning, and then spent the afternoon helping out at a church thing. Well, actually not our church, but its sister church in a much poorer part of town. They had a "family fun day" - face paints, bouncy castle, BBQ, tea & cake, that sort of thing. But not fundraising - just the church doing something for the community, so everything was free. They did free bike repairs and servicing too. I was on the second hand clothes stall. 6 free items per person in the morning, and then come back in the afternoon and as much as you want of whatever's left. I was given the unending task of refolding stuff after it had been rifled through, and was struck by the way the men's stuff stayed folded, and the women's and children's stuff didn't. Are men tidier when looking through clothes, or is it to do with men's clothes being made of stiffer fabrics and easier to keep folded while you're looking at them?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
