Sounds nice - but my DW is not very tall and afaik doesn't do coffee.
Being a lover of Italian cars - I don't suppose you might know of a local Fiat garage who might be able to fix my car, our local fiat 'specialist' has so far charge me £700 failing to fix it on a car only worth £1000vivatifosi wrote: »It was actually in the coffee bar upstairs. Didn't want to say more than that, but only one child. Quite tall and hair back on that occasion. Any good as a description, or have I got totally the wrong person?I think....0 -

Lucky I didn't stalk her then! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You lot near each other really should have a meet. I had a meet erm, four? Years ago with nice people before the economy board was invented and a special nice thread was born. With generali, who is proper nice and equally brilliant IRL, and lynzpower who is my very good RL friend now and some other people who have names i very much remember but have not been here for a very long time indeed. PN, I can remember you declining, still; people do care!
Silvercar, i must apologise then! Grown up was an intended compliment. If you used words like 'nutter' more, I'd have guessed younger :rotfl:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

1] When a car's only worth £1000, you don't go to dealers, you find the "local bloke". Dealers cost about £100/hour; local blokes cost about £30-35 once you've tracked them down.
2] It's worthwhile phoning other dealers for a quote... if it's driveable. There was some magazine article a few years back that looked at servicing a car - and they established that dealer prices vary so much across the country that it's possible to book your car into a dealer 100-200 miles away and use the money saved on a weekend break in that area.0 -
I nearly met fc.... I happened to be on a flying visit to the smoke, to meet an online friend who'd jetted in from NY... and, as he was really really boring I'd left earlier than expected and headed for the station, so randomly dropped into her place, but she wasn't there that day.
I also nearly met LIR, but her OH decided that online people might be dangerous and it never happened0 -
michaels, I can pm you details of a garage if you like. They are a proper garage, but they are very reasonable and very fair. About 20 miles from you though.

Does anyone fancy a game of guess the wedding dress and see who gets closest? A bit girly (sorry michaels, dave, lj and our other regular males).
My guess is, Ivory, classic style, little embellishment, something a bit like this one, (only not costing £190 obviously):

Only with a long train and longer sleeves but a similar shape neckline. And posher lace. And not made of polyester... Well a bit like the pic anyway. I definitely think it will have long sleeves and a lot of the wedding dress pics had no sleeves at all. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Thanks Viva. Sorry but I can't reciprocate by passing sensible dress comments - bring on the Republic I say...
I have been looking on ebay for things ending lunchtime tomorrow in the hope of getting a bargain when there are no other last minute biddersvivatifosi wrote: »michaels, I can pm you details of a garage if you like.
