I have worked for quite some time in the voluntary sector. Many volunteers were early retirees, or retired folk. Being in the black country, there was always a lot of banter. Many of the ladies used to say to me "jelly, I'm old enough to be your mother." All the hours people spent rushing to post, rushing to update the spreadsheet, sharing their joy, waiting for the vouchers, rushing back to spend their pennies, hours spent poring over lists and calculations.

It should be interesting reading this afternoon/evening as it starts at lunchtime today - so a lot of people will be clutching their lists/vouchers and rushing off tonight, only to find out later.0 -
