No, I'm a freakishly abnormal size and shape.
Besides, I keep thinking that one day I'll get the urge to diet, exercise, or otherwise live a slightly more healthy lifestyle, and the suits will fit me once again. I should probably just give up and give them away to a charity shop.
McTavish Manor is well overdue a clean out of "old stuff that Hamish insists on keeping in case it ever comes in handy".“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Edit: Job done!
Edit: Hmm, is that kind, I wonder? I'll go for a walk and ponder that.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Hey : does anyne remember me asking FC about fabric....well according to this:http://www.idesignlove.com/?p=1809 the stuf I'm looking for should be everywhere. Harumph. Why can't I find it (and do I want it if it is now going to be trendy). I'm slowing down, I've only been looking for this a year and I used to be at least two years ahead of trends.0

I wanted a suit last year, for an interview. Couldn't find one anywhere as I need a petite. So, I figured "M&S"... and went to the capital to look.... went into two other shops on the way to M&S, both had just ONE petite suit, not suitable for an interview. Went into M&S ... nothing. So I enquired "where are your petites?" "Oh - just pick a suit and we'll order it in petite if we have it" was the answer.... that's no good... I've no idea which ones would fit/suit me and I needed one that day, not next week!0

It's people who live in big cities, who happen to be close to a good supplier of XYZ that post that annoying !!!!!!.
That fabric reminds me of dresses in the 60s/70s.0 -
With M&S I just order something of everything at which point it costs enough for free delivery and other discount codes, try it on in the comfort of my home and then take back the 90% that doesn't work to the nearest store.PasturesNew wrote: »I wanted a suit last year, for an interview. I hate clothes shopping, nothing fits. I don't know what size I am, I don't know if the cut would suit/fit me, or the colour... and I stay away from patterns as they don't suit me.
I once said to somebody "I have nothing to wear" and she came round and checked and agreed. She went shopping with me to find me something to wear - and ended up defeated. Her parting words were "you're right, nothing does fit or suit you does it"0 -

Its hard to get suits in a short square in UK.

It's when he also comes back with t-shirts that look like someone died in them that annoys me.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

PasturesNew wrote: »Thank you for inviting me to your wedding. I will have to decline the invitation however because ... well, quite frankly I've never liked you. You're bossy, over-bearing and tedious. Selfish, moronic and dull. You're everything I don't want in a friend, or even an acquaintance or neighbour within 300 miles.
I hope you have a really cr4p day, if the groom turns up he's more stupid than he looks.
I do, however, thank you for the opportunity of saying "no thanks" and realising just how much money I'd have wasted attending your Me-fest. With the money I'll buy something for myself and my home - because my home'll still be here in 20 years' time (and more), whereas I give your marriage about 10 minutes tops.
The money saved will pay for that dry-cleaning bag. To wear to something all together more fun!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
