From a buyers point of view I would avoid them like the plague.

I went in to the office with my requirements, sitting on the desk was the hand written report of a flat the valuer had seen that morning, I remember the line "living room - looks like an after beth explosion"

I then booked an appointment for 10am viewing on saturday morning for a property I had gone in about. I got a TEXT at 8AM to remind me of the appointment. Thank goodness I hadn't booked the 9am viewing. I went bonkers at the manager saying that Saturday was my only lay-in and I was deeply upset at them using my mobile number for this service and I got a 'oh we do it for all our appointments' - well it would have been bl00dy nice to have been told that when I booked.

I viewed one more property through them, told the agent it was didn't meet my requirements and why. Then got a phone call from them 2 days later to ask my thoughts on the property - from the very agent that had shown me round.

Incompetent morons would be my summing up of Haart.

We were selling my oh's house through a different agent and Haart cold-called me one day on my personal mobile phone trying to persuade us to move over to them. I have no idea how he knew my name and personal number (I wasn't even the homeowner!) and when I asked him he refused to tell me. I didn't like the way he asked lots of personal questions about how much commission we were paying our agent etc and I told the guy (who sounded like some fast talking dodgy used car salesman) that I did not appreciate having my day disturbed by him and put the phone down.

I'm sure not all branches are the same but I found this very offputting and wouldn't want to deal with them again.
  • They cold called me on my personal mobile number as well, and I too have no idea how they got it. Made me very cross, they were trying to get us to go with them instead of the agent we were with - I told them where to go. They also sent numerous letters and flyers to our address trying to get our business.
October no spend on lunches 2/17 so far.
