SKY/language learning (help!)

I am after getting SKY because i have heard that if you have sky you can also get arabic language channels. I'm learning arabic and i know that hearing the language is a real help.

Does anyone know if you can get arabic channels from just the normal dish pointed at the normal direction that you point the dish for UK channels?

Also (the main techie question...) if you can pick up the arabic channels anyway, then surely the package you choose that you pay for will not matter? (i.e. i can sign up for the lowest package as it's the arabic channels i want not the english channels)
