No cancellation emails and no refunds.............so far.
Money has been taken out of account with todays date.

Lynsey

I did one order, and the money for that was taken from my bank with today's date too. Nothing at all from the company though still.
• Its weird actually because the 5p orders went through ... I think!!

I didn't receive a refund e-mail for them .. Yet , but did for the 45p item and a £2.80 one

So MAYBE some of the items became OOS because all ordered them en mass??

We'll just have to wait and see what happens now - But was still rude if items WERE OOS as an email notification from the COMPANY would have been nice!!

Payments taken from by bank account yesterday
• On T&C's it states ''We aim to process all orders within 2 working days, but during busy or holiday periods it may take a week for your order to reach you''

Anyone who paid extra for First Class delivery received anything yet?

It seems weird that some orders from individuals have been cancelled and some not ( yet? ) as would they not do all our cancellations at once per person ... Or are they working down a list you think??

I still have a feeling the cancellations were for OOS items and those with no cancellations yet are in with a good chance of receiving the items , fingers and toes crossed - And hopefully softer fingers and toes if we receive them!

( pity they don't have a 'where's my order' page for us to log into!! )

Hope some of us get our goodies xx

i think 'essential care' is a fairly small business. is it possible that their rbs worldpay account has a limit on the number/amount of refunds that they can do per day/week/month etc.? hence some of us still haven't received refunds...?

also, i noticed the thread here when it was initially started on the discount and code forum. i believe a few hours later, a new thread popped up on the grabbit forum, which is probably when the orders started to flood in. so as you say, the cheaper items may have gone OOS extremely quickly.

anyway, time will tell. for those have yet to receive a refund, including myself, good luck!!

Sorry that the orders weren't honoured, I don't remember doing any survey so i just thought the email was a standard promo one and there was no T&C's with the code.

Anyway, it wasn't me who put this on Grabbit, i didn't see that thread, but i did post this one a while ago.
Internet earnings:
Swagbucks - £748
InstaGC -£73
Nielsen Mobile - £70
Mobile Trends - £19.50
iPoll - £15

Don't be sorry, it's a super site and was a super little promotion.:T

I think they might've done themselves a disservice though by not honouring. I would definitely have gone back for more at proper prices, but won't if they don't sort this out properly.
• The items I was refunded for are still in stock and available to buy :(

So I don't know WHY I'm still being optomistic and looking out for the postie next week ... Rather than my inbox!! :D
• Just received this email from Essential Care, seems like a mass mailout rather than a reply to my email:

"You appear to have ordered from the Essential Care online store using a £7 voucher that was issued to a group of customers who had filled in a customer questionnaire. Terms and conditions were published on the questionnaire in connection to the use of this voucher including:
- completion of the questionnaire by 31/10/2010;
- one voucher per respondent.

As we are sure you can understand, use of this voucher is restricted to the Essential Care customers who had given of their time in completing the questionnaire. We do not have a record of your questionnaire response. If you have inadvertently found the voucher code from an unauthorised third party source, we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused us all. Despite transaction costs we have incurred, we will fully refund or have already refunded any payment you made to us and cancelled your order. All refunds will be completed by Monday 10th January and may take up to four working days to reach your account.

If you did fill in our questionnaire, please accept our sincere apologies and forward us your survey responses, so that we may reinstate your order.

If you have any other queries relating to our hand-made certified organic skin care, or would like to receive details of future offers, we look forward to hearing from you at info@essential-care.co.uk. As a small, family-run company, our resources are limited, but we will respond to your enquiry as quickly as possible. "

Now I am very hacked off with them. I have bought from them before so I had been sent the survey, which I completed, but now because they don't have any record of me filling it in I get to miss out. Poor show Essential Care, you just lost a customer.

Yeah me too - just had the same email.

Are you not able to send them your survey responses? If so, it says your order will be re-instated ;)
